MANUALplus 620- CNC system for contour machining of CNC and automatic lathe
For many years, the MANUALplus CNC system has achieved great success in the application of manual and automatic lathes, especially its flexible and easy-to-use manual operation function. The application-oriented loop programming function enables machine operators to quickly and efficiently create and modify programs on the lathe. The newly launched MANUALplus 620 CNC system further extends these applications to single spindle CNC lathes. With the smartTurn operating mode, Heidenhain has once again taken operational convenience to a whole new level. The easy to understand programming input information, default global settings, multiple optional features, and intuitive graphic support in the form ensure that users can operate quickly and conveniently.
The new smartTurn interface is rooted in Heidenhain's mature and reliable DIN PLUS: creating DIN PLUS programs in smartTurn mode provides NC programmers and machine operators with all relevant information during program execution.
The MANUALplus 620 is designed for lathes with a spindle, a slide (X and Z axes), a C-axis or position adjustable spindle, and power driven tools. Suitable for horizontal or vertical lathes with simple tool holders or turntables. Hand to hand integrated lathes are usually used for small and medium-sized production tasks. The simple and easy to learn loop programming function of MANUALplus 620 brings more benefits to operators, making them process workpieces faster and more efficiently. If it is required to increase the difficulty of machining tasks on the lathe, operators can use the latest smartTurn programming mode to write NC programs. The basis of the smartTurn programming operation mode is the NC program of the CNC lathe.
This new NC programming method can be quickly mastered because machine operators do not need to handle G or M functions, but instead use structured machining unit program segments. SmartTurn is programmed through an easy to learn input form.
